Why Consider Joining Greek Life at UM
Being a member of a Greek chapter at UM is designed to better prepare members for professional life after college. Graduating UM with a degree are the table stakes. The opportunity Greek Life provides is to augment your professional and interpersonal skills by getting involved in chapter chair and executive roles which typically include president, vice president, treasurer, secretary, recruitment, social, member education, risk management, philanthropy/community service, academic, house manager, and more. New members learn from, and are mentored by, older student members for these positions. Each of the positions help develop different required skill sets that will absolutely be drawn upon in post-college life, and each introduces members to relationships and responsibilities outside of the chapter and UM.
